Abstract: Dextrin vesicles are created, for the first time, by cleverly customizing the polysaccharide backbone with renewable resource 3-pentadecylphenol pendant molecules, which are capable of loading hydrophilic and hydrophobic drugs and subsequently release their 100% cargoes by esterase enzyme action under physiological in vitro conditions.
