Abstract: In this study we have tried to explore structure–dynamics relationship of FAD with the help of time resolved fluorescence studies over five orders in time scale from several hundreds of femtosecond to nanosecond. We found that FAD has conformational flexibility, due to which it exhibits several distinct dynamics in the pH range between 0.5 and 13.0. Our lifetime and anisotropy results confirm conformational changes of FAD at pH = 3.0 and pH = 10.0.
