dc.description.abstract | Host–guest interactions between cucurbit[7]uril (CB7) and a cardiotonic drug, milrinone, have been explored using steady state and pico-second time-resolved techniques. A novel fluorescence switch from ultraviolet (UV) to visible (cyan) is observed as a consequence of upward pKa shift of the drug inside the nano-cavity of cucurbit[7]uril. | en_US |
