Abstract: Over the past few decades, there has been a remarkable progress and development in the field of glyco-nanotechnology, which has brought the glycomic research even more closer to the realization of biomedical applications. This review intends to give an overview of the recent advances and the future prospects of the synthesis of glyco-quantum dots, as well as selected applications of these nanoparticles in biology, biotechnology and diagnostics.
