Abstract: We study the problem (πΌπœ€)β—‚{:β–Έ where π‘ž>𝑝β‰₯2βŽβˆ’1, πœ€>0, Ξ©βŠ†β„π‘ is a bounded domain with smooth boundary, 0∈Ω, 𝑁β‰₯3 and 0<πœ‡<πœ‡Β―:=(π‘βˆ’22)2. We completely classify the singularity of solution at 0 in the supercritical case. Using the transformation 𝑣=|π‘₯|πœˆπ‘’, we reduce the problem (πΌπœ€) to (π½πœ€) (π½πœ€)⎧⎩⎨βŽͺβŽͺβˆ’π‘‘π‘–π‘£(|π‘₯|βˆ’2πœˆβˆ‡π‘£)𝑣𝑣=|π‘₯|βˆ’(𝑝+1)πœˆπ‘£π‘βˆ’πœ€|π‘₯|βˆ’(π‘ž+1)πœˆπ‘£π‘žin Ξ©,>0in Ξ©,∈𝐻10(Ξ©,|π‘₯|βˆ’2𝜈)βˆ©πΏπ‘ž+1(Ξ©,|π‘₯|βˆ’(π‘ž+1)𝜈), and then formulating a variational problem for (π½πœ€), we establish the existence of a variational solution π‘£πœ€ and characterize the asymptotic behavior of π‘£πœ€ as πœ€β†’0 by variational arguments when 𝑝=2βŽβˆ’1.
