Abstract: Aromatic and heteroaromatic ketoximes underwent cyclization with alkynes in the presence of a catalytic amount of [{RuCl2(p-cymene)}2] and NaOAc to give isoquinoline derivatives in good to excellent yields in a highly regioselective manner.
