Abstract: In this thesis, I‟m presenting a novel approach to bulk defect passivation. The defect passivation techniques used are usually surface passivating techniques and couldn‟t stop the self-degradation of the perovskites. The new plan also leads to the formation of new morphologies that are investigated using different characterization techniques. In this thesis, I have tried to compile the recent advancement in passivating methods, their demerits, and merits. Newly obtained morphology in this work could be of interest for the industry, I have also tried to explain how we can move more close to the application of such materials.
