Abstract: The present invention discloses a high-power density and long cycle life Sodium-ion battery system and method for designing the same. The present invention further relates to method for formation of a Solid Electrolyte Interface Layer (SEI) on the surface of the anode electrode to prevent the irreversible loss of the capacity of the counter electrode.
