Abstract: Due to its inherent insensitivity amongst the spectroscopic techniques, improvements in sensitivity and resolution are always demanding in NMR spectroscopy. In the present study, two novel SERF-based pulse sequences have been developed where the eradication of axial and unwanted peaks improved the spectral resolution by several folds, and the incorporation of perfect echo provided the liberty for increasing slice thickness leading to enhanced sensitivity. The replacement of direct dimension with pure shift block enhanced signal resolution in the resulting spectrum. The designed sequences have been demonstrated on several chosen molecules and also the molecular mixtures for the accurate measurement of J couplings.
