dc.description.abstractThe field of Beyond the Standard Model phenomenology is rich with possibilities and presents us with a variety of potentially new and interesting answers which would eventually help us understand the small-scale, as well as the large-scale structure of our universe better. Hence, an appropriate extension of our current understanding of the Standard Model with Dark Matter, providing results and predictions which can be verified to high accuracy is very desirable. A possible solution to this is a hidden and confined DM sector with strong self- interaction of the particles, similar to mesons in QCD. Building such a model and probing its existence is explored in this project. In this model we find that multiple annihilation mechanisms can work to give us the correct relic density of dark matter. We show that this model cannot give us a signal through Direct Detection experiments. We also show how Indirect Detection signatures can be used to probe the phase space of the model.en_US
