Abstract: Hybrid spirooxindoles represent a class of compounds that have gained significant attention in the realm of medicinal chemistry due to their diverse biological activities and promising pharmacological profiles. These unique structures, featuring a spirooxindole core, amalgamate various molecular scaffolds, offering a versatile platform for drug design and development. The synthesis and structural modifications of hybrid spirooxindoles have led to compounds exhibiting a wide array of biological properties, including anticancer, antimicrobial, antiinflammatory, and neuroprotective activities. Their potential as therapeutic agents have spurred intensive research efforts aimed at exploring their mechanisms of action and optimizing their pharmacokinetic properties.
