| dc.description.abstract | We explore the main statements of class field theory from the perspective of local global principle. In the process, we explore various instances of the local global principle, which asks whether a property that holds in all completions of the number field, holds in the number field itself. Important among them are the Kronecker-Weber theorem, Hasse norm theorem and the Grunwald-Wang theorem. | en_US |
