dc.description.abstract This thesis investigates the potential of a muon collider, with its ability to probe Seesaw models, in particular the Type II Seesaw model in context of the µTristan collider framework. The study centers on the production mechanisms, decay processes, and detection prospects of the new scalar particles predicted by the Type II Seesaw model. By analyzing signal events and comparing them to background processes, we evaluate the collider’s sensitivity to these particles. A detailed investigation of the dependence of production cross sections on the triplet Higgs vacuum expectation value v! and the masses of the scalar triplet is conducted. We analyze signal events such as µ + µ + → l + l + ∀ through s-channel production of !++ , µ + µ + → W + !+ , W + → j j, !+ → l + vl, and others. We identify the v! and mass regions that provide sufficient cross sections to distinguish the signal event from the background. The results demonstrate the potential of colliders to probe the Type II Seesaw model and constrain its parameters. en_US
