dc.description.abstract This thesis provides a succinct summary of some of the research work in the field of Coding Theory with regard to convolutional coding. Specifically, it explores the MacWilliams Identity and its derivation for the case of convolutional coding. It also extends the idea of LCD codes to the convolutional case while verifying important results that were known to hold for block codes in the convolutional setting. en_US
