dc.description.abstract We have synthesized Yb3+ doped 2D (C8H9NH3)2PbBr4 nanoplatelets which shows new optical functionality which is emission in the NIR region (998 nm). Further study in this direction may lead to applications in NIR LEDs and remote sensing. en_US
