Disclosed herein is a galvanic cell for producing hydrogen(fuel) with concomitant power production comprising a) hydroreactive metal anode M1 and b) H2 evolution catalyst cathode M2 immersed in an acidified aqueous electrolyte, wherein, the cell can be operated without applying any external voltage over a range of temperatures and pressures. |
