dc.description
dc.description.abstract Precise determination of atmospheric conditions that initiate thunderstorms and lightning is essential to enhance prediction accuracy. This study analyzed the Correlation of lightning activity with various indices like CAPE, KI, TTI, Product of CAPE and Precipitation, and Product of CAPE and Specific humidity at 850 hPa. Among the five indices that have been analyzed in this study, the Product of CAPE and Specific humidity at 850 hPa is found to have higher spatial and temporal Correlation with the lightning activity than other indices like CAPE, KI, TTI, Product of CAPE, and Precipitation. en_US
